Perimeter Security Systems Engineer


1 Year Contract w. Renewal Options


Primary duties include the following: 

  • Plan, perform and document updates and changes to proxy systems and firewalls as directed.
  • Work with other IT personnel to gather and document firewall security requirements.
  • Obtain appropriate security review/approvals for configuration changes.
  • Document configuration baselines.
  • Respond to, and resolve security vulnerabilities through monitoring, intrusion detection, and reaction to computer virus or worm attacks.
  • Implement changes to site routers and switches as directed.
  • Under SRNS direction evaluate, design, develop and implement updates to software and/or hardware technologies.
  • Provide off-hour support of hardware and software as required.


Education:   4 year degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline with 5 years relevant IT experience. Or a non-related 4 year degree with 7 years relevant IT experience or High School Diploma with 15 years relevant IT experience.


Knowledge  / experience with medium to large computer network concepts and technologies. Support of computer systems and/or networks in a medium to large production environment. Knowledge / experience with TCP network communications. Candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years recent experience in installing, operating, and maintaining firewalls in an enterprise/campus size environment. Practical experience is required in two or more of the following areas: MPLS, BGP, Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco ASA appliances, Cisco Clean Access, VLAN access control lists, Radius, IPv6, 802.11n, DNSSEC.

Must be able to obtain an "L" or "Q" DOE Security Clearance

Program / Planning Specialist


1 Year Contract w. Renewal Options


Develop and/or review project schedules, including written step-by-step work instructions, procedures for the implementation and control of work and/or projects.  Primary duties include the following:


  • Develop and/or review project schedules / activities to support operations.
  • Ensure project activities remain on schedule and under budget.
  • Discuss and interface with Operations on activities within the facility.
  • Review the basis of estimate with the Control Account Managers and work with project controls personnel to ensure that savings are realized as they should.

 Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science w/ 1-3 yrs of related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business w/ 3-5 yrs of related experience  OR  Associates Degree with 4-6 years of practical experience.


  Must be a US Citizen and be capable of obtaining a DOE "L" or "Q" Security Clearance



Construction Engineer Electrical


1 Year Contract w/ Renewal Option


Construction Field Engineer will be responsible for the following activities in support of field installation of electrical construction commodities:


  • Developing work installation instructions.
  • Coordinating procurement of construction bulk materials.
  • Interfacing with Management and Design Agency to resolve field installation issues or questions.
  • Ensuring installation meets technical and quality requirements.


Position requires a basic understanding of Construction Electrical Engineering principles as well as applicable National Codes and Standards (i.e. NFPA, NEC, ANSI, IEEE).


Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 1-2 years of practical experience in construction engineering or related areas. OR Associates Degree

and 3-5 years of practical experience. OR a High School Diploma / GED with 6-10 years of practical experience.


   Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining a DOE “L” or “Q” Clearance.


Nurse Practitioner  or  Physicians Assistant


Location: Savannah River Site

1 year contract w/ renewal options


Licenses Required:  Licensure by the State Board of Medical Examiners of SC is required.  Must maintain state and national certification, as required.


Must have a minimum of 3 year’s experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant  Possess thorough knowledge of primary care and demonstrated competency in providing services as PA or NP. Skilled in history taking, performing physicals and evaluating illnesses and injuries.


Duties: Will provide routine and emergency care of all employees at Savannah River Site-(SRNS, SRR, DOE, WSI), visitors and subcontractors under the general supervision of the Medical Director and in accordance with physician’s approved protocols. Will perform physical exams, collaborate with Management, Legal, HR and other groups. Will also order radiologic and laboratory studies as needed. Assess, diagnose and determine appropriate medical treatment, including prescription medication.


Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining a DOE “L” or “Q” Security Clearance.





Location:  Savannah River Site

One (1) Year Contract w/ Renewal  Options


Licenses Required:

Must be licensed as a physician in South Carolina.

Must carry malpractice insurance.


Duties / Responsibilities : Will provide occupational medical support to Savannah River Site operations in a locum tenens capacity. Will evaluate the health status of employees. Determine fitness for duty and return to work status. Will provide prompt diagnosis and treatment of occupational injury or disease. Will provide non-occupational  health care for employees experiencing medical emergencies.


Must have a minimum of five (5) years active medical practice experience.


Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining a DOE “L” or “Q” Security Clearance.
